Switch from another tool

You don't need to start from zero. Flick can import your data from most tools in a few minutes.

What you can bring

• Customers and suppliers
• Products and services, with prices and VAT rates
• Open (unpaid) sales invoices and bills
• Opening balances for your accounts

How to import

1. Go to Settings → Import.
2. Pick the tool you're coming from, or choose Spreadsheet.
3. Connect the tool, or upload the export file it gives you.
4. Check the preview. Flick AI maps columns and flags anything it's unsure about.
5. Choose Import.

Choose a start date

Pick the first day you'll record in Flick — usually the start of a month or VAT period. Everything before that date stays in your old tool; Flick starts from your opening balances.
