How Flick AI reads documents
Upload a PDF, photo or e-invoice and Flick extracts the supplier, lines, VAT and totals.
Updated
When a bill, receipt or invoice arrives, Flick AI reads it and turns it into structured data.
What Flick extracts
- Supplier or customer, matched to your contacts (or a new contact is suggested)
- Document number, issue date and due date
- Each line: description, quantity, price, VAT rate
- Totals, currency and payment details
- The account it should be recorded in, based on your history
Confidence
Each field gets a confidence score. Fields Flick is unsure about are highlighted for you to check. Documents with all fields above your threshold can be posted automatically if your rules allow it.
E-invoices
E-invoices received through Peppol are already structured, so there's nothing to guess. Flick validates them, matches them to purchase orders if you use them, and suggests an account.
Learning from you
When you correct a field, Flick remembers it for that supplier. After a few bills from the same supplier, most fields are filled correctly without your help.
