E-invoice statuses and rejections
What each status means and what to do if an e-invoice fails.
Updated
Each e-invoice shows its status on the invoice and in Bills → Invoices.
- Validated — passed all checks and is ready to send.
- Sent — delivered to your customer's access point.
- Reported — the invoice data was accepted by the tax authority.
- Accepted — your customer's system acknowledged it.
- Rejected — the customer rejected it. The reason is shown on the invoice.
- Failed — delivery or reporting didn't complete. Flick retries automatically and tells you if it needs action.
Fixing a rejected invoice
- Read the reason on the invoice.
- Create a credit note for the rejected invoice.
- Issue a corrected invoice.
