Close the day

Count the drawer, check payment totals and post the day to Books.

Updated

  1. Choose Close day on the Counter screen.
  2. Count the cash in the drawer. Counter shows the expected amount and any difference.
  3. Check card and other payment totals against your terminal.
  4. Choose Close. The day's sales, VAT and payment methods post to Books as one summary entry, with every sale still traceable.
